If I were lending VA home loan money to someone, and another person stepped up and said, “If they don’t pay you back, I will”, you can bet I’d be more willing to lend the money. And the veteran would most likely be very happy to take the loan no matter what the VA home loan interest rates were – as long as they were competitive. Which they are. The VA home loan interest rates might even be a smidgen better.
